KBR currently has a need for motivated recent college graduates with an Electrical Engineering background to help support our United States Department of Defense customers in their transition to the future of Aviation. Roles and Responsibilities · Design and document modifications to new and existing models of US Army Rotorcraft to integrate new technologies and systems. The models include, but are not limited to, the HH/UH-60 Blackhawk (A, L, and M), and the MH/CH-47 Chinook fleets. · Work with other more experienced Electrical Engineers to help guide the technical direction of the US Army Rotorcraft fleet by defining electrical and avionics systems requirements with tools such as DOORS, CAMEO, etc. · Develop wiring diagrams in to facilitate Maintenance Work Orders and installation instructions utilizing DoD and industry standards to ensure fabricated parts are repeatable while meeting system requirements. · Under supervision, perform Electrical Loads Analyses on aircraft power systems. · Evaluate supplier drawings for adherence to design standards and manufacturability. · Under supervision, define the electrical integration of new electrical and avionics systems. Basic Qualifications · A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering from an accredited program. · Self-starter with the ability to work independently when required · Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience · Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. · Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings · Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing CAD software such as AutoCAD, CREO, ProE, etc. in the creation of electrical schematics/wiring diagrams · Ability to clearly express and present ideas to Engineering Leadership · Understanding of basic Electrical Engineering design practices and analyses is required · Existing SECRET clearance or ability to obtain a SECRET clearance Preferred Qualifications · Experience interfacing with Suppliers · US DoD Aviation experience is a plus · Experience creating and interpreting Bills of Materials (BOMs) · Experience working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment · Knowledge of GD&T practices and application is a plus · Understanding of Military, ASME, ASE Specifications as they relate to Electrical Design is a plus · Experience with circuit design software packages (i.e. Multi-Sim, PSpice, etc.) Belong, Connect and Grow at KBR At KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.  These inform all that we do and are at the heart of our commitment to, and ongoing journey toward being a People First company.  That commitment is central to our team of team’s philosophy and fosters an environment where everyone can Belong, Connect and Grow.
