You will work alongside experienced engineers to develop advanced processes, solve complex manufacturing challenges, and support the production of technologies that power everything from artificial intelligence to next-generation computing systems.   Position Overview As a PCVD Process Engineer , you will contribute to the development, optimization, and sustainment of semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will gain hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art fabrication environment, partnering with teams to improve yield, quality, reliability, and productivity. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to apply engineering fundamentals, build technical expertise, and develop a career in advanced semiconductor manufacturing.   Responsibilities • Support the development, optimization, and sustainment of PCVD processes to improve product performance, manufacturing efficiency, and yield. • Analyze process and manufacturing data to identify trends, investigate issues, and implement effective corrective actions. • Collaborate with Process Integration, Equipment, Manufacturing, Quality, and other engineering teams to achieve production and technology objectives. • Participate in process qualifications, experiments, and continuous improvement initiatives using statistical and engineering methodologies. • Employ data analytics tools to evaluate process performance and drive data-informed decisions. • Explore and apply AI-assisted and Agentic AI workflows to enhance process monitoring, engineering productivity, and problem-solving. • Document findings, present technical results, and communicate recommendations to interested parties. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related STEM discipline. • Graduating before the start date or graduated within the last 24 months. • Foundational knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, materials science, process engineering, or related technical fields through coursework, research, internships, or co-op experience. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills demonstrated through academic projects, research, laboratory work, or internships! • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and collaborate within a team-oriented environment! Preferred Qualifications • Internship, co-op, research, or laboratory experience in semiconductor manufacturing, microelectronics, nanotechnology, materials processing, plasma-enhanced deposition systems, or related technologies. • Experience with statistical process control (SPC), experimental design (DOE), process characterization, or data visualization techniques. • Familiarity with programming, scripting, or data analysis tools such as Python, JMP, MATLAB, SQL, or similar platforms. • Experience applying AI, Generative AI, or AI-assisted tools to support engineering, research, automation, or data analysis projects. • Demonstrated leadership through student organizations, research teams, design competitions, project-based coursework, or community involvement.
