Privacy Engineer Help shape how privacy works across our digital environment. Join the Enterprise Privacy Office as a Privacy Engineer and turn complex privacy and technology issues into practical solutions. Reporting to the Chief Privacy Counsel, you will lead platforms used to monitor, assess, and manage online privacy technologies across websites and mobile applications. You will combine technical problem-solving, data analysis, and strong partnership skills to improve privacy controls, support incident response, and reduce risk. What you’ll do: • Own and improve online privacy technology platforms, including access, asset onboarding, scans, rules, workflows, releases, and vendor support. • Assess cookies, scripts, pixels, tags, applications, vendors, consent behavior, and data transfers to identify meaningful privacy risk. • Build practical data maps that show what data is collected, why it is used, where it moves, who receives it, and how long it is kept. • Analyze platform findings, logs, inventories, tickets, and other data to identify trends, control gaps, affected assets, and potential exposure. • Support incident response by analyzing technical evidence and helping determine affected systems, data, individuals, vendors, locations, and time periods. • Turn findings and legal requirements into clear controls, corrective actions, and decision-ready reporting; confirm fixes and escalate material risk. • Partner with Privacy, Legal, Information Security, Engineering, Product, Marketing, Procurement, and business stakeholders to reinforce requirements and embed privacy into digital products and processes. What you need to do the job: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, software engineering, data science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. • At least 5+ of experience in privacy engineering, security engineering, web engineering, platform administration, application security, data protection, or a related technical field. • Hands-on experience with a privacy, security, consent, web-governance, or digital-monitoring platform. • Knowledge of web and mobile technologies, including JavaScript, cookies, local storage, tags, pixels, APIs, and network requests. • Experience using technical tools and data sources to investigate data flows, map data, analyze incidents, and reach well-supported conclusions. • Ability to turn legal, privacy, and information security requirements into practical technical controls and measurable results. • Strong communication and partnership skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly to legal, business, and leadership audiences. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
