Job Title: Software Engineer - Windows Integration Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * Job Description: Software Engineer Level 3 MWIII Bridge – Hanover, MD Area The Opportunity CACI is serving as a Prime Contractor on the MWIII Bridge project, with all positions located in the Hanover, MD area. MWIII Bridge develops and supports Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities for enterprise and stand-alone deployment throughout the Intelligence Community (IC). Key tasks include program management, mission support, software integration and development, system engineering, migration, testing, documentation development, network and system monitoring, configuration control, and release management. Responsibilities • Support the Zero Trust Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ZT ICAM) team, DISA, and other Department of War customers. • Design, develop, test, and sustain secure Windows plug-ins, Microsoft Office add-ins, client libraries, and application adapters for data marking, resource metadata, and authorization workflows. • Integrate applications with policy, identity, and attribute services. • Construct authorization requests, process decisions, enforce outcomes, and support auditing, failure handling, and disconnected operation. • Work directly with customer teams to assess environments, guide application onboarding and deployment, resolve interoperability issues, and produce clear integration and support documentation. Qualifications Required • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; four additional years of experience may substitute for the degree. • Eight or more years of software engineering experience, including three years in SIGINT, Information Assurance, or Information Technology. • Experience developing and sustaining Windows plug-ins, desktop extensions, or Microsoft Office add-ins using C#/.NET and Visual Studio. • Experience with Office.js, VSTO, COM, or an equivalent Microsoft Office extensibility model. • Experience integrating applications with REST APIs, JSON, tokens, certificates, PKI, mutual TLS, identity services, and attribute sources. • Experience implementing authorization request and response handling, local policy enforcement, auditing, timeouts, caching, fail-safe behavior, and recovery. • Experience with automated unit, integration, security, interoperability, and regression testing; Git; CI/CD pipelines; and secure coding practices. • Experience leading design and code reviews, supporting customer integration and deployment, troubleshooting defects, writing technical documentation, and mentoring engineers. Desired • Experience developing add-ins for Outlook, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint and working with document metadata, content controls, data labels, or markings. • Experience developing client libraries, SDKs, adapters, or enforcement integrations that consume policy decisions and attribute data from distributed services. • Knowledge of Zero Trust, ICAM, Attribute-Based Access Control, and policy administration, decision, information, and enforcement functions. • Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP, trust frameworks, policy or attribute synchronization, and disconnected operations. • Experience packaging, signing, deploying, and updating Windows software using MSI, MSIX, ClickOnce, Group Policy, or enterprise distribution tools. • Experience supporting DISA or other Department of War customers and producing API documentation, integration guides, deployment procedures, and training materials using Jira and Confluence. - What You Can Expect:  A culture of integrity. Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
