Job Description: Hard disk drive read channel digital design, concentrating on digital signal processing and error correction decoding. Qualified candidates will: • Work closely with architects to develop design specifications • Be responsible for HDL coding, lint checking, CDC checking and RTL & gate-level simulation development and debug • Produce verification and silicon validation plans • Work with implementation teams to review results from synthesis, STA and logical equivalence checks • Provide input to program managers to produce project resource requirements and schedules • Develop automation to support design & verification tasks Job Requirements: • B.S degree in EE or Computer Engineering with minimum of 12 years of related experience, or M.S degree/Ph.D. in EE or Computer Engineering with minimum 10 years of related experience • Hard disk drive and read/write channel knowledge is a plus • Knowledge of Verilog, UNIX, Perl or Python scripting, and C • Understanding of the IC development flow, from RTL to silicon • Familiarity with low power design techniques • Ability to work with teams at remote locations and in different time zones • Self-motivation, excellent communication skills and ability to excel in a team environment Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is USD To USD As a valued member of our team, you'll be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and the opportunity to receive not only a competitive new hire equity grant, but also annual equity awards, connecting your success directly to the company's growth.
