Position Summary
The Data Engineer – PBM Campaign Operations (GCP) is responsible for supporting and optimizing the technology platform that enables the execution of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) campaigns on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role focuses on managing campaign execution workflows, and production support activities to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of member and provider outreach initiatives.
The engineer partners closely with Business Teams, Product Owners, Analytics, and Engineering teams to maintain operational excellence across campaign platforms. This role is responsible for monitoring campaign workflows, resolving production issues, ensuring data quality, and driving automation and process improvements to support large-scale healthcare and member engagement campaigns.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Campaign Operations, Production Support, or Data Platform Operations.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience handling large-scale customer, healthcare, or campaign datasets.
• Experience with Python and scripting for automation and operational support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production environment.
• Experience supporting SLA-driven business operations and incident management processes.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks, data validation, and data quality practices.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting PBM, healthcare, pharmacy, or member engagement campaigns.
• Familiarity with campaign management and marketing operations platforms.
• GCP Professional Data Engineer or Associate Cloud Engineer certification.
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards, HIPAA, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$72,100.00 - $144,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
