Front-End Engineer, Luna Omni — Seattle

The Omni team is looking for a Front-End Engineer II (FEE II) to build customer-facing web experiences and internal tools that support Luna and Amazon Games. In this role, you will design and develop marketing websites and web experiences used by our customers, while also building internal tools that help our teams operate and support the business at scale. This includes tooling for UTF, Customer Support, and other operational workflows used by teams across Luna and Amazon Games. You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, and partner teams to take features from requirements through design, implementation, testing, and production. You will have opportunities to influence the architecture and user experience of our web applications, improve engineering quality and developer productivity, and help establish reusable patterns that can be adopted across the Omni platform. Key job responsibilities As an FEE II on Omni, you will: - Design, develop, test, and maintain customer-facing web applications and reusable front-end components. - Build marketing experiences supporting game, content, and product launches. - Develop internal tools for UTF, Customer Support, and operational workflows. - Integrate front-end applications with backend services and APIs. - Own features end-to-end, including design, implementation, deployment, and operational support. - Improve application performance, accessibility, maintainability, and engineering quality. - Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and reduce manual effort through better tooling and automation. - Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices across the team. - 3+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience - 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience - Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react - 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience - Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
