Product Data Management Engineer (Configuration & Data Management/Technical Integration) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS ) is seeking a Product Data Management Engineer join our Site Engineering Tools team in Oklahoma City, OK. The successful candidate will administer, trouble-shoot and develop improvements for engineering tools used across several Mobility, Surveillance, and Bomber programs at the Oklahoma City site. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate & Experienced Level professionals. Position Responsibilities: Associate (Level 2) • Collect data to define and validate requirements for new and revised hardware and software systems. • Assist with the design, development and testing of applications. • Support trade studies and other forms of analysis to formulate optimum solutions for users. • Support deployment of new or revised processes in support of new computing systems, by assisting with user training and preparation of relevant documents. • Assist with development of system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes. • Assist with evaluation of new computing technologies to support business requirements • Work under general supervision. Experienced (Level 3) • Define and validate requirements for new and revised hardware and software systems • Design, develop and tests applications • Perform trade studies and other forms of analysis to formulate optimum solutions for users • Develop and deploy new or revised processes in support of new computing systems, including documentation and training • Support the development of system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes • Facilitate integration of new technologies and the transition from legacy systems to support business requirements • Work under general direction    This position is full time onsite at the Oklahoma City, OK campus. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance Post-Start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. • 1 or more years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Configuration Management systems, Change Management, and PLM Processes and Tools Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Experience with overseas teams • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, .NET, ASP, HTML, Cold Fusion, CMPro, 3DX, Tableau Typical Education/Experience:  Associate (Level 2) • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Experienced (Level 3) • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master +3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Union: This is not a union-represented position.
