Job Title VP, Data & Analytics Engineering About your role: As VP, Data & Analytics Engineering, you will lead Data & Analytics Engineering for the business-facing tier of the enterprise data ecosystem. You will work with data platform, governance, AI, product, risk, operations and business leaders to transform curated data into trusted, discoverable, secure and easy-to-consume products. Your work will help Fiserv connect enterprise data architecture to measurable business outcomes, client value, operational resilience and responsible AI-enabled consumption. What you'll do: • Define and execute a multi-year roadmap for enterprise data products, self-service analytics, client and internal data delivery, and AI-enabled data consumption. • Own the architecture and operating model for the enterprise consumption layer, including semantic models, metrics stores, governed views, reporting data products, application programming interfaces, embedded analytics and AI integration endpoints. • Build and operate reusable, business-ready data products with defined documentation, lineage, entitlements, quality measures and consumption guidance. • Establish enterprise standards for dashboards, scorecards, operational reporting, data extracts, self-service analytics, customer-facing reporting and governed data sharing. • Partner with leaders across Risk, Operations, Product, Sales and other business domains to translate business outcomes into scalable, reusable data capabilities. • Embed data contracts, automated quality checks, metadata, observability and policy enforcement into the data consumption lifecycle. • Lead and develop engineering teams responsible for enterprise analytics, data product delivery, consumption platforms and operational execution. • Hire, coach and support succession planning for engineering leaders while building accountable, inclusive teams that deliver measurable outcomes. • Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary. Experience you'll need to have: • 15+ years of experience in enterprise data platforms, data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, data architecture or related technology domains. • 12+ years of experience managing and developing teams responsible for enterprise-scale platforms, cross-functional delivery and distributed engineering execution. • 12+ years of experience modernizing data or analytics ecosystems in regulated enterprise environments using cloud data platforms, governed data models and business intelligence platforms. • 12+ years of experience connecting architecture and engineering strategy to business outcomes, adoption metrics, operational resilience, service levels and regulatory commitments. • Experience with analytics engineering, enterprise semantic layers, reusable metrics frameworks, governed business definitions and data product management. • Experience with business intelligence ecosystems such as Power BI, Cognos, Tableau or equivalent analytics platforms for enterprise reporting and self-service analytics. • Experience designing data consumption architectures using embedded analytics, customer-facing reporting, application programming interfaces and governed data sharing. • Experience with AI-enabled data consumption patterns, including retrieval-augmented generation, trusted enterprise knowledge layers, metadata, lineage, access enforcement, evaluation and human oversight. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience. Experience that would be great to have: • Modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery or related technologies. • Metadata management, data catalogs, lineage, critical data elements, data quality controls and platforms such as Collibra or equivalent tools. • Experience with distributed data processing and integration patterns using Spark, PySpark, Kafka, Representational State Transfer services, microservices or modern engineering delivery practices. • Experience enabling data monetization through governed analytics products, application programming interfaces, reporting services or value-added data offerings. How you'll work: • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity. Salary Range $210,000.00 - $330,000.00 These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
