If so, then we encourage you to apply to this outstanding opportunity!   In this role, you’ll apply your technical knowledge and oil and gas experience to help optimize the daily operation of Enbridge’s U.S. Gas Transmission and Midstream assets. You’ll calculate natural gas operating capacities, evaluate pipeline configurations, strategically plan outages, forecast demand, and assess near term opportunities, all while balancing efficiency, reliability, and customer needs. What you will do: o    Apply hydraulic models and engineering tools to determine, forecast, and post daily pipeline capacities across assigned U.S. gas systems. o    Monitor and reassess capacities as outage plans change, finding opportunities to reduce customer impact through optimized outage scheduling. o    Analyze operating parameters to optimize gas flow, support outages, and ensure safe, achievable capacity levels. o    Communicate modeling results through clear reports, presentations, and recommendations that support business decision-making. o    Support asset optimization strategies, capital project development, and operational enhancement initiatives. o    Assist with storage expansion, debottlenecking, budgeting, coordination, and project execution to improve system flexibility and performance.   Who you are: You have: o    2+ years of oil & gas pipeline experience along with a bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, electrical, petroleum, or chemical engineering o   A general understanding of natural gas pipeline systems & gas flow while upholding Enbridge's core values of safety, integrity, respect, inclusion and high performance along with our ways of working with compliance procedures and processes across multiple states for combustion equipment You can: o  Develop & maintain working relationships with the Capacity Planning team & other departments to achieve goals while being a standout team mate with good work ethic and a positive demeanor o  Anticipate and promptly identify potential problems and take corrective action before they become a crisis while using your analytical and problem-solving skills along with modeling toolst You are: o  Able to multitask and successfully manage multiple projects and programs at the same time using your strong prioritization skills to work well with colleagues to meet tight time constraints o  Able to learn and effectively converse with peers while showing strong organizational and communication skills The following are considered assets: o  Experience with gas pipeline hydraulic simulation & ready to learn more o  Experience with Gas Control and Gas Pipeline & Storage Operations o  Understanding of pipeline and storage commercial operations and energy markets o  Knowledge of SCADA systems o  Knowledge of Enbridge's Gas Transmission and Midstream (GTM) assets o  Working knowledge of Gregg Engineering modeling software o  Professional Engineering designation Working Conditions: • • Office environment. • Limited ( Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: • Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.   Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to: • Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.   Salary: • • Ranges from $85,000-$105,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.  Benefits: • • A flexible benefits program that allows each employee to select the level of coverage needed for their family in the areas of health, dental, insurance, and disability. • A paid birth giving and parental leave benefit that offers up to 20 weeks of paid leave for birth-giving parents and up to 12 weeks for other eligible parents, providing flexibility and support during this important life event. • Valuable retirement savings plans, including a savings plan with company stock as an investment option. • Paid time off/vacation/sick, plus paid personal days off (depending on location), and paid holidays. • An Employee and Family Assistance Program. • A Wellness Program, which focuses on supporting healthier employees by providing tools, resources, and opportunities to improve physical, mental, social, and financial well-being. • Enbridge’s FlexWork (hybrid work model) offers eligible employees (Manager and below) the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, opt for a compressed work week schedule, or have flexible start and end times.
