Labcorp is seeking a Per Diem/PRN AI Transformation Associate to join its team in Phoenix, AZ.  Work Schedule : Monday- Friday, approximately 20 hours per week. This is a casual/PRN role and hours may vary based on business needs. Address: 5005 S 40th Street, Phoenix, AZ. This is a hybrid position that works both onsite and remotely. Employees are expected to work in the office approximately 3 days per month. Job Responsibilities:  • Partner with laboratory staff to understand end-to-end workflows, instrumentation usage, and operational pain points • Act as a liaison between the lab team and technical partners by framing lab challenges as AI, data, or automation opportunities • Analyze laboratory, operational, and quality data to surface actionable insights and improvement opportunities • Support the development, testing, or evaluation of AI-based tools or decision-support solutions for lab operations • Assist in creating repeatable, easy-to-use analytical processes to support laboratory decision-making • Document findings and present recommendations to lab leadership and cross-functional stakeholders • Participate in training sessions to learn enterprise data tools, AI platforms, and laboratory information systems • Engage in professional development workshops to enhance communication skills, consulting mindset, and professional presence Minimum Qualifications:  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent  • Current enrollment in a Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related Bachelor’s degree program OR Bachelor’s degree in one of these majors Preferred Qualifications: • AI certification • 6 months or more experience with basic Python, SQL, or automation tools • 6 months or more experience with Power BI, Tableau, or data visualization tools Additional Job Standards: • Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and digital transformation • Familiarity with AI and Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude) • Basic prompt engineering experience • Strong process improvement and problem solving skills • Basic understanding of machine learning concepts • Understanding of responsible AI and data privacy principles • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures • Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision • Maintains professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel Benefits:  Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO, For more detailed information ,  click here .   Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer: Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
