This role focuses on optimizing production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness within our CVG200 operations. You will act as a technical leader, driving continuous improvement initiatives and providing expert guidance to production teams. Job Responsibilities • Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling for product assembly, testing, and packaging. • Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, yield, and cost reduction through the application of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. • Conduct process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and internal quality systems. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams including design engineering, quality, and production. • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Lead or participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives for manufacturing defects or inefficiencies. • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, materials, and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities and product performance. • Provide technical training and mentorship to junior engineers and production personnel. • Manage capital equipment projects from conception through installation and qualification. • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality and reliability of incoming materials and components. Job Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing preferred). • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a high-volume production environment. • Proven experience in process development, optimization, and validation. • Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC). • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for fixture and tooling design. • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and robotics is highly desirable. • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Experience with project management and leading small to medium-sized projects.     BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
