Position Overview This position supports the supply chain organization through a variety of projects focused on enhancing productivity, reducing expense, maximizing throughput and ensuring workplace safety through data reporting and analysis. Company expert in labor management and is relied upon to provide guidance and recommend policy in this field. Primary customers are Distribution Center operations leadership team. A Day in the Life • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of accurate and effective engineered labor standards through time studies and frequency studies. • Develop and maintain accurate incentive pay data collection processes; assist with troubleshooting data entry, reporting, and data collection issues. • Define and maintain best practices for all job functions across all shifts, including training management and hourly associates on productivity standards and work methods. • Analyze, implement, and document enhancements to existing work methods, workflows, and processes to improve throughput. • Propose and test new concepts to improve workflow and facility layout within distribution centers. • Identify, recommend, and develop enhanced operational and KPI reporting metrics. • Support the design and implementation of material handling equipment in existing, new, and expanding network facilities. • Support capital projects as needed through ROI analyses, cost-benefit evaluations, and implementation activities. • Support business objectives related to expense reduction and throughput improvement through needs assessments, workflow analysis, recommendations, and project execution. • Utilize appropriate project management tools to plan, develop, and coordinate assigned work, delivering measurable results. • Collaborate effectively with external resources, including consultants and contractors, to ensure business requirements are met. Additional Duties and Responsibilities • Availability to work night and/or weekend shifts on an occasional basis, as business needs require. • Support ad hoc assignments, including complex cross-functional projects, to drive business objectives. Compensation Range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 You'll Come With Qualifications:   • 2+ years of experience in projects related to process and material handling systems design, work measurement, productivity improvement, cost reduction and project implementation • Ability to work independently with medium to high direct supervision • Experience with work measurement methodologies and tools with an emphasis on time study expertise • Experience in best methods development and implementation • Experience in the development and maintenance of an performance management and accountability program • Experience with productivity tracking, data collection systems • Experience with Standard Data and Predetermined Time Systems • Experience performing cost analysis for project justification • Strong ability to gather, analyze and interpret information and develop, recommend, and implement solutions while maintaining budget • Effective communication, planning, organization, and problem-solving skills • Excellent PC skills – Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio Come join our team.
