CACI is seeking a talented Splunk Software Engineer to join our team in Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will combine software engineering and DevOps expertise to develop applications and integrations that leverage the Splunk platform and APIs. You'll collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that directly support national security objectives. At CACI, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled professionals, tackle complex technical challenges, and contribute to meaningful missions that make a difference.   Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain applications, APIs, scripts, and services that integrate with Splunk and related technologies. • Develop new features and enhancements while troubleshooting and resolving software defects. • Create and maintain DevOps automation scripts, configuration files, and deployment workflows. • Manage and maintain source code repositories using Git. • Route, transform, and enrich data from multiple sources to support operational requirements. • Collaborate with data providers and consumers to ensure effective data integration and delivery. • Investigate and resolve escalated customer issues and technical support requests. • Contribute to system reliability, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.   Qualifications: Required: • Active TS/SCI clearance Polygraph. • Experience developing and integrating APIs. • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript. • Experience with Git and Jira. • Current Splunk Accredited Core Implementation Certification. • One of the following combinations of education and experience: • 7+ years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma/GED, or • 5+ years of relevant experience and an Associate's degree, or • 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or • 1+ year of relevant experience and a Master's degree. Desired: Experience with at least four of the following technologies and practices: • Regular Expressions (RegEx) • RESTful services and integrations • Splunk and/or Elasticsearch • CI/CD pipelines and automation • Monitoring tools such as Nagios or Elastic Beats • Apache NiFi • React (Angular experience also considered) • DevOps technologies including Ansible, Salt, or Docker • Cribl - What You Can Expect:  A culture of integrity. Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
