What you'll do: • Design and implement back-end APIs written in Golang and deployed across Azure • Write and maintain Terraform for deploying infrastructure to various environments • Write and maintain unit tests and functional tests using Postman and Github Actions • Frequently communicate in writing and verbally, both internally and with other teams, especially when working on larger features that span functional domains • Build services that are consumed by many teams across the company • Deliver features that are flexible, cost-effective, maintainable, and can be easily debugged, even at-scale • Optimize cloud resource usage in Azure, including compute, networking, storage, and security What you'll bring: • BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred) • 2+ years Software Engineering experience, including at least one year Golang development • Experience with a strongly typed language, to migrate APIs to Go • Experience deploying to major cloud-based providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), including deploying cloud functions, containers, data stores, API gateways, etc. • Understands queue-related technologies (SQS/SNS/Event Grid) • Knowledge of the SDLC and its best practices, including code standards, reviews, source control (git), test-driven development, continuous deployment, and agile methodologies • Outstanding communication, organizational and problem-solving skills • Collaborative spirit: You're self-driven, trust-worthy, supportive, tactful, and you enjoy sharing, and you support decisions once they're made At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
