Learn more at www.analog.com  and on LinkedIn and X .            Senior Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer (P6)   Location: Chandler, AZ Level: Senior Principal (P6)   About the Role Analog Devices is seeking a Senior Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to provide technical leadership for the development of next-generation mixed-signal and power management integrated circuits. This role requires deep expertise in analog and mixed-signal IC design, exceptional architectural skills, and a demonstrated ability to lead complex developments that span multiple products, technology platforms, and engineering disciplines. The successful candidate will serve as a technical authority across the organization, driving architectural decisions, mentoring senior engineers, influencing product roadmaps, and leading critical customer engagements. This individual will be expected to solve the company's most challenging technical problems while helping shape the future direction of our mixed-signal and power management portfolio.   Responsibilities • Define system and circuit architectures for complex mixed-signal and power management ICs. • Lead development of advanced analog and mixed-signal functions including: • Multi-phase DC/DC converters • Power management ICs (PMICs) • Precision analog circuits • Current sensing architectures • References and regulators • High-performance interface circuitry • Drive technical execution from concept through silicon validation and production release. • Establish design methodologies, best practices, and engineering standards across multiple projects. • Lead architectural tradeoff discussions involving performance, power, area, cost, reliability, and schedule. • Influence technology strategy, IP reuse, and platform development across product families. • Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams including design, verification, layout, product engineering, applications, and test. • Mentor and develop engineers ranging from entry level through Principal Engineer. • Represent Analog Devices in strategic customer and technology discussions. • Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex silicon and system-level issues.   Minimum Qualifications • BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering. • 15+ years of mixed-signal or analog IC design experience. • Demonstrated success developing and releasing complex semiconductor products. • Deep expertise in CMOS analog and mixed-signal circuit design. • Extensive experience with power management architectures and transistor-level design. • Strong silicon debug, characterization, and production support experience. • Expert-level proficiency with Cadence and SPICE-based design environments.   Preferred Qualifications • Technical leadership of multiple successful production IC developments. • Experience leading large PMIC, automotive, industrial, or high-reliability semiconductor programs. • Track record of architectural innovation resulting in reusable IP or platform technologies. • Experience driving cross-site technical initiatives and mentoring senior engineering staff. • Customer-facing leadership experience with strategic accounts.   Key Characteristics of Success • Recognized technical authority within analog and mixed-signal design. • Strong architectural thinking and system-level problem solving. • Ability to drive alignment across organizations and influence without direct authority. • Balances technical excellence with practical execution. • Demonstrates ownership, urgency, and sound engineering judgment. #LI-EC1 For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export  licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.  As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.
