About the Role
As a Product Quality Engineer, you will support product quality and reliability throughout the product lifecycle by driving issue resolution, quality improvement initiatives, and customer quality activities. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help investigate quality concerns, analyze data, implement corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the investigation and resolution of product quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Participate in root cause analysis and the development of corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze product, manufacturing, and quality data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Quality teams to improve product quality and reliability.
• Contribute to customer quality responses, technical reports, and quality documentation.
• Support quality management systems, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in driving lessons learned and quality improvements into product development and manufacturing processes.
Must Have Skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Understanding of quality engineering principles and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and technical reporting.
Preferred Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 0-2 years of experience in quality engineering, product engineering, manufacturing, test engineering, or related technical areas.
• Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, FMEA, SPC, or Six Sigma.
• Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing, product development, reliability, testing, or quality systems through coursework, projects, internships, or work experience.
• Experience analyzing technical, manufacturing, or quality-related data is a plus.
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
