JOB TITLE: DIRECTOR OF DATA ANALYTICS LOCATION Alexandria, VA   JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Data Analytics to lead our growing analytics team. In this role, you will oversee data analytics operations, develop data-driven strategies, and drive business insights that inform key decision-making. You will be responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing team, partnering with business and technology stakeholders, and ensuring the organization leverages advanced analytic tools and methodologies.   RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead and manage the data analytics department, establishing the vision and strategy for advanced analytics, business intelligence, and data management. - Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. - Partner with business units and technology teams to identify analytic opportunities, assess data needs, and deliver actionable insights. - Oversee the development and implementation of analytics dashboards, KPI reports, and data visualizations to track business performance and inform strategy. - Drive the deployment and optimization of advanced analytics tools, predictive models, and data infrastructure. - Ensure data quality, data governance, and best practices across all analytic activities. - Communicate complex analyses, model results, and business implications to executives and non-technical stakeholders. - Monitor emerging trends in analytics tools, techniques, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.   REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred). - 8+ years of hands-on analytics experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. - Proven experience leading analytics teams and delivering impactful insights in a fast-paced business environment. - Strong knowledge of analytical and statistical techniques, data management best practices, and advanced visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). - Experience with big data platforms, machine learning, SQL, and modern ETL pipelines. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Industry experience in technology, government services, consulting, or related domain. - Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud). - Familiarity with data privacy, governance, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).   BENEFITS - Competitive salary, bonuses, benefits, and equity packages - Career advancement opportunities in a growing organization - Professional development and training programs - Flexible work environment - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance   We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our team.
