Job Title: Systems Engineer & AI Integrator Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity: This Systems Engineer will operate in a matrixed capacity, supporting systems engineering tasks, program deliverables, corporate-level AI solutions, and various proposal duties. Provide technical understanding of hardware and software component relationships, dependencies, and requirements for program execution. Additionally, the engineer will interface with customers to understand requirements and oversee the creation and delivery of long- and short-term program deliverables. This individual will assist project management with annual portfolio management, draft and maintain technical documentation regarding systems environments and architectures, and participate in technical exchange meetings with internal and external development teams. They will frequently interface with customers to ensure system support needs are addressed Finally, the individual will use their understanding of cyber and AI solutions to participate in the various aspects of proposal writing including responding to market surveys, RFIs, and RFPs, participating in solutioning meetings. The candidate will conduct thorough research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape, and implement those understandings into proposals. Responsibilities: •  Translate business and non-functional requirements to technical requirements •  Test, debug, edit, and provide feedback on engineering products and deliverables •  Interface with customer to demonstrate system-level concepts of products •  Manage issue tracking as needed •  Execute in-depth, hands-on customer training as requested •  Respond to Market Surveys, RFIs, and RFPs with quick turnaround delivery •  Manage a small group of engineers dedicated to the incorporation of AI solutions into various parts of company portfolio •  Develop and write high-quality proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations. •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure proposals align with client requirements and company capabilities. •  Edit and refine proposals to ensure clarity, coherence, and persuasiveness. •  Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality. Qualifications: Requried: •  JIRA or equivalent task management software experience •  TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain required Polygraph •  Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering field •  Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal writing Desired: •  Excellent interpersonal relationship and customer service skills •  Experience in system testing and analysis •  Experience with software engineering process •  Excellent technical writing abilities •  Ability to shift focus between various projects as needed   - What You Can Expect:  A culture of integrity. Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
