Peraton is seeking a Remote Systems Integration Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of U.S. airspace operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that FAA National Airspace Systems are upgraded in a timely manner. Work Location: • This position is 100% on-site located in Herndon VA. • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time to support deployments at CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations. In this position, you will: Our team of technologists and aviation experts are supporting the FAA update of new systems to National Airspace System (NAS). • Coordinate activities to complete installation of situational displays at Air Traffic Facilities • Provide any supporting documentation related to the site-specific activities – e.g., site design documentation, site completion. • Comply with all FAA facility requirements (security, workspace availability) and professionally manage all site staff relationships Qualifications Basic Qualifications: • U.S. Citizenship Required • Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance • Bachelor’s degree and 12 years’ experience Master's degree and 10 years or Associate’s degree and 14 years’ experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 16 years’ experience • Deployment coordination and/or project management experience with governmental customers • Hardware and software deployment/installation experience • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time on deployments for both CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations • Proficiency creating documents, network diagrams and/or rack elevations using tools such as Visio and Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with National Airspace System (NAS) architecture and modernization initiatives (e.g., NextGen) • Experience supporting FAA, DOT, or other aviation or transportation programs • Redhat Linux experience • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs. • Desktop support experience with windows laptops #BNATCS Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
