Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career. About the team Metronome is a usage-based billing platform and a Stripe product. It helps modern software companies launch products faster, offer flexible pricing models, and streamline finance workflows. The Metronome Integration Engineering team sits at the intersection of sales, growth, product, and research and development. We own the technical aspects of the customer lifecycle after a sale and before the customer transitions to our post-implementation teams. What you'll do As an Integration Engineer, you’ll help customers implement Metronome successfully and realize value quickly. You’ll lead technical work across requirements gathering, solution and integration design, configuration, testing, data migration, launch, and handoff. Responsibilities • Conduct discovery and scoping to understand customers’ challenges across billing, product launches, pricing and packaging, quote-to-cash, customer experience, and related areas. • Support customers throughout the implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, integration design, testing, data migration, and launch. • Provide expert guidance on usage-based pricing and consumption-based business models. • Configure Metronome’s platform on behalf of customers. • Design integrations between Metronome’s APIs and customers’ business systems—including CRM and CPQ platforms, payment and tax systems, ERP and billing providers, and reporting and analytics tools—in alignment with Metronome best practices. • Serve as a liaison between customers and Metronome’s research and development teams, advocating for customer needs and feature requests. • Partner with implementation managers and other project-team members to provide visibility into progress and proactively identify risks and issues. • Build relationships across customer organizations, from day-to-day operators to C-suite executives. Meet customers in person when doing so will improve the engagement. • Advise customers on integrating Metronome into their systems and help shape their pricing and packaging strategies. • Ensure an effective handoff to Customer Success and Technical Support. You’ll work with some of Metronome’s most strategic customers. These engagements will be complex, deep, and highly technical. Metronome directly influences how modern software companies monetize their products, and this team is on the front lines of that work. Metronome operates with a startup mindset within Stripe. There is a significant opportunity for people with initiative to influence our direction, build processes from zero to one, and make a meaningful impact.
