Infrastructure System Administrator - Tier 3 (Citrix / VDI / NetScaler) — APO, AE

Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Infrastructure System Administrator - Tier 3 (Citrix / VDI / NetScaler) to work in Stuttgart, Germany. What you will do:• Level: Tier 3 (L3 Support, Engineering, and Operations)• Core Focus: Enterprise Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), and Citrix ADC/NetScaler architecture.Key Responsibilities: • Environment Management: Design, deploy, and maintain high-availability CVAD environments, Machine Catalogs, Delivery Groups, and StoreFront • NetScaler / ADC Operations: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Citrix ADC/NetScaler appliances, gateway settings, load balancing, and secure remote access authentication • WMS- Endpoint management using Dell Wyse software • Image & Profile Management: Build, update, and troubleshoot Golden Images/Master Images via MCS (Machine Creation Services) or PVS (Provisioning Services); manage user profiles using FSLogix • Tier 3 Support & Troubleshooting: Serve as the final escalation point for L2/L3 incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and resolve deep connectivity, latency, or VDA registration issues • Maintenance & Upgrades: Execute platform upgrades, security patching, and firmware updates across Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, and NetScalers • Automation & Documentation: Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for task automation; author standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks • Technical Stack: • Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD), Studio, Director, StoreFront. • Citrix ADC / NetScaler (Gateway, Load Balancing, Content Switching) • Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, and FSLogix • Hypervisor knowledge (VMware vSphere/ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V) • Automation via PowerShell Qualifications What you will need: • HS diploma and 6 years of dedicated IT infrastructure experience with at least 3–5 years specializing in Citrix VDI and NetScaler administration • Methodologies: Strong working knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management) • Certifications: Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-V / CCP-AppDelivery) or equivalent enterprise experience preferredWork well as part of a team including some members at off site location • Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret or Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance, depending on the network's classification • U.S. Citizenship: Required for all positions requiring a security clearance • DoD 8570/8140 Compliance: Candidates must meet Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II requirements at a minimum • Baseline Certification: Common certifications include CompTIA Security+ CE or (ISC)² SSCP • Computing Environment (CE) Certification: Proof of proficiency in the specific technology, such as Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V) or a relevant Microsoft Windows Server certification • TESA approval required Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Target Salary Range $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
