Associate Wire Harness Installation Engineer — USA - Oklahoma City, OK

Associate Wire Harness Installation Engineer Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space, & Security (BDS)   is looking for an Associate Wire Harness Installation Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK .  This position will provide engineering support across the Boeing portfolio of products, to include – but not limited to – Boeing Military Aircraft and Military Derivative Aircraft (AEW&C, AWACS, C-32/C-40, E-4B, VC-25A, KC-767, B-1B, B-2, B-52 and others). Position Responsibilities • Develops and maintains basic cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. • Assists with engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). • Develops and maintains basic electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas). • Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. • Collects data to support the development of statements of work. • Assists in data gathering of supplier capabilities. • Reviews functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture. • Works under close supervision. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):    • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement • Experience with CAD software (ex. CATIA, Solidworks, etc.) • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship as a condition of employment. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • 2 or more years’ related work experience or combined experience in academic projects • Experience with CATIA and 3DX CAD Software.
